1926-2019

Donald Guy Ellers passed away peacefully Sunday March 24th at Mt. Carmel Community at the Village, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.  Don was born in Scotia, New York, son of Lillian Kaiser and Carl Ellers, and resided in Upstate New York where he first worked as a machinist and then a buyer for the General Electric Company. He was a proud Navy Veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. Don was the loving husband for 73 years of the late Loris Bird Finch, brother of Lois T. Williams of California, and the late Robert Ellers and father to Thomas Wayne Ellers of Hot Springs Village, Nancy Cheryl Ellers of Batavia NY, Judith Patrice Ellers of Greenwich NY and the late David Edward Ellers. Beloved grandfather of Jeffry J. Ellers, Melisa Gunyon, Kathryn Gagné, Stephen Battaglia, Patricia Antanavige, Marcy Smith, Jason Ellers, Eric Ellers, Jamie Ellers and the late Glen Ellers and great grandfather to their children.
